What is everyones take on the company that supports linux the most or the best?
Now that i get to work with so much more diff stuff under linux on a daily basis i am starting to find that most everything is supported in some fashion but a lot is not by the company that made it really.

Id Software?
I donno there isn't a whole lot of support from major companies as they are in the business of making money and so they have to focus their support where that money is. I have to say nvidia does do a good job with they're linux 3d drivers which is nice. ATI seems to be trying as well, although they're 3d performance is kinda weak.
I believe that as (if) market share moves to linux we'll see alot better support since it will be a requirement for business. |
